Traditional Clothing
For women, the typical clothing is sarafan yubka (long skirt). Mens clothing rubaha (long sleeve shirt, traditionally white) sharovari (wide legged pants, traditionally red or blue) sapogi (boots, traditionally red).
Children's clothing is the same as that of the adults.
Traditional Ukrainian men, who lived in the country, used to wear large mustaches. They are often portraid in pictures smoking tobacco from a pipe. Their heads are shaved except for a long flock of hair in the centre of the head.
