Knair is an Iraqi - Canadian sculptor ans potter. Knair came to Canada eleven years ago. Knair has been and active community artist and is participating in major cultural events. Knair is teaching pottery with ICAA art program.Knair is an Immigrated from Iraq. Knair Completed high school in Dohuk, Kurdistan. Knair has received her University Diploma from Kurdisatn - Iraq in the area of pedogogy and education.
In 2003 Knair attended the pottery education progam at Mohawk Collegel. mrs Knair Rasheed learned new techniques which she wishes to carry onto her teaching.
Knair has participated in numerius exhibitions and took part in major art related discussions including the Multi art Worskshops.Her art exhibitions at the City of Hamilton Hall, Carnegie gallery, and other cultural places are part of the Hamilton's immigrant art community contribution.
Knair Rashid is enjoying the support of her family in promoting her art. Knair's artistic journey is an example of eastern womean's struggle to succeed.
